OUR MINISTRIES

Our ministries offer a place where engaged disciples can experience community, ministry & mission. Our purpose is to Love, Learn, Serve & Share, making disciples of Jesus Christ, helping the lost find God, and supporting the needy in finding relief.

Blanchard Methodist Women

Adult Womens' Ministry
We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God; to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative fellowship, and to participate in the global ministries of the church. As Blanchard Methodist Women, we want to share our gift of God with others through fellowship and mission work.

Methodist Men

Adult Mens' Ministry
Blanchard Methodist Men are a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily His will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.

The Focus of B.M.M.

Our Main Concerns
  • To encourage knowledge of and support for the total mission of The Methodist Church.
  • To engage in evangelism by sharing the fullness of the gospel in its personal and social dimensions.
  • To clarify and speak to the identity and role of the man in contemporary society.
  • To seek commitment to discipleship.
  • To study and become familiar with The Methodist Church, its organization, doctrines, and beliefs.
  • To cooperate with all units of Methodist Men in obtaining these objectives through district, conference, jurisdiction, and church-wide goals.

Little Lions

Children's Ministry
In our children’s ministry, we are partnering with parents and guardians to raise the next generation of believers and servants! To do this in an engaging way, we use a wide variety of missions, music, arts and crafts, discipleship, and just plain fun. Our children are learning the fundamentals of our faith while developing a strong spiritual foundation.

Our Children's Ministry

 Our Mission
We exist, for God’s glory, to introduce kids to Jesus and disciple them as Christ-followers that they might introduce the next generation to Jesus and make disciples of them.
How to Get Involved
Blanchard Methodist Church offers a wide variety of programming for our children from Sunday School and Children's Church to Vacation Bible School. We are always looking for volunteers to serve in the ministry!

Lions Youth Group

Youth Ministry
Lions Youth is a group of 6th-12th graders and adults devoting ourselves to prayer, to learning God’s word, and to fellowship with one another. LYGers train in righteousness while anticipating the Spirit to faithfully equip us for every good work and we rejoice with all who are new creations through our Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to joining with you in worship of our God!

Hilltoppers

Senior Adults Ministry
We believe there is no exact age that determines whether or not you are a “Senior”.  Some say 55 or 60 and others 62 and up.  Our group says we welcome you to come and join us and if you are blessed and have enjoyed yourself, we would love for you to join us.  We plan activities each month, some local some overnight or weekend trips.

The Hilltoppers' Focus

 Fellowship
We love to come together and have a good time.

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” -  1 John 1:7
 Encouragement
All of us need to be encouraged. Seniors face many challenges as age creeps up on us.

"Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you.  I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save." - Isaiah 46:4
Friendship
There are no strangers here, only friends we have not yet met.

"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." - Proverbs 18:24

Mother's Day Out

Family Ministry
We provide excellent and safe child care in a setting of Christian love and emphasizing Christian values, meanwhile, giving parents a day to spend as they please free of responsibility for their children.

Children are given the opportunity to play freely and interact with other children to develop social skills. Bible stories are read each day as well as other storybooks. Prayer is said before snack and lunch.

GOALS OF THE JESUS' LAMBS

Mother's Day Out Ministry

  • To lead the child to appreciate the wonders of God's Creation and His great love in sending Jesus Christ.
  • To make the child aware of and interested in the world around him.

  • To make the child's adjustment to being away from home a happy and wholesome one.
  • To give the child many opportunities to work and play cooperatively in a group.
  • To teach sportsmanship. It's OK to lose sometimes.

  • To provide opportunities to work with all kinds of materials in creating expression.
  • To follow his progress in all phases of growth through observation and parental contact.
  • To help the child feel a sense of belonging and full acceptance.
  • To help the child grow in the common courtesies of life.
