When I Feel Down, God Comforts Me

Ask Your Kids:
• In the story, God told Jonah to go to Nineveh. Did Jonah go to Nineveh like God told him to, at first? (No) Jonah decided to disobey God and that left him feeling down about the mistake he had made.
• When the men threw Jonah off of the boat, what happened to him? (He was swallowed by a fish) That’s right! God sent that fish to swallow Jonah so that he wouldn’t drown in the ocean. That was one way God comforted Jonah.
