A Heart After God Is Trusting

Mar 22, 2020 • David Becomes King (2 Samuel 2:1-7, 5:1-5)

Ask Your Kids:
• Who promised to make David the king? (God) That’s right! God promised that David would be king one day.

• Did God make David the king right away, or did David have to wait awhile? (He had to wait)

• You’re right! But as we just heard in our story, David trusted that God was going to do what He said! Even though David couldn’t see how it was all going to turn out, he trusted God because he knew that what God says is true, and He always keeps His promises! That’s why we can trust God with all our hearts, too!
